Rhône Valley is located in the southeastern part of France, a large region that commonly divide into northern and southern parts. Both northern and southern of Rhône Valley have very distinct climates, landscapes, soil types, and grape varieties, creating numerous unique styles and quality levels’ red and white wines. It also hosts some of the world’s most distinguished wine regions, such as Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
In this Rhône Valley masterclass, Certified Rhône Valley wine educator Corinne Mui will introduce 8 wines from the top and noteworthy producers to demonstrate how different climates, landscapes and grape varieties create some of the most distinguished wine styles in the world. The course will cover:
- Geography, climate and soil
- Wine characteristics of the Rhône Valley Terroir
- Significant grape varieties
- Rhône Valley by numbers
You’ll be able to taste 8 premium red and white wines from Rhône Valley.
