Palate training workshop is designed to help improve your palate by exercising your ability to identify primary tastes. In this 2 hours advanced “Mystery” session, our Chief Educator Ms. Corinne Mui will lead you achieve the following goals:
- To develop the sensory analysis capabilities at an elite level
- Improving participants appreciation and recognition of different wine styles and regional character
Blind tasting 8 wine for specific palate training.

When tasting wine, you may often hear people saying the wine is matured or fermented in oak barrels. Maybe the oak is from French or United States, or maybe it is new or old.In reality oak barrels, one of the most used vessels in winemaking, is a much more complicated matter. It can also come with various sizes, level of toast; producers may even blend wine matured in different types of oak, making “oaked wine” has numerous styles, flavours and complexity.
